Thomas F. “Tom” Morrison, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. Born and raised in Lynn, Tom was the son of the late Robert E. and Eileen (Herlihy) Morrison. When he was a young boy, his family moved to Worcester, where he attended Worcester Boys Trade, specializing in sheet metal. Shortly after graduating, Tom enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at age 18, proudly serving his country. In 1973, Tom married the love of his life, Mary J. (Leslie), at St. Bernard’s Church in Worcester. As their family grew, they made their home in Rutland, where they raised their children and built a life filled with love, hard work, and dedication. Tom worked for 35 years at the Norton Company, where he managed the sheet metal department. After retiring, he continued to share his skills and work ethic with City Welding and Energy Construction. When not working, Tom enjoyed traveling, especially to Aruba, a favorite destination he returned to often, and he loved spending time on the golf course with family and friends. Tom leaves behind his devoted wife, Mary, and their beloved children; Sean Morrison and his wife Jennifer of North Kingstown, RI, and Amy Adimack of Strawberry Plains, TN. He will be dearly missed by his cherished grandchildren, Aiden, Riley, and Dylan Morrison, and by his siblings; Robert Morrison of West Boylston, John Morrison and his wife, Elaine of Leicester, and Ann Marie Souza and her husband, Albert of Worcester.
