BRUCE A ETHIER

Bruce A. Ethier,77, of Spencer, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Feb 26th.

He leaves his longtime companion of 40 years, Janet J. Beford, his brothers; Andrew Ethier of Charlton, and Steven Ethier and his wife Gertrude of FL., his sister; Cheryl Archambeault and her husband Mark of Spencer, nieces and nephews. Bruce worked construction for the Local 22 Laborer’s Union in Boston for many years prior to his retirement in 2003.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Andrew and Doris (Brennan) Ethier and later graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School in 1966. He loved exploring yard sales, swap meets, and car shows, while also enjoying the soothing sounds of his guitars. He also cherished the memories of time spent with two special girls, having fun swimming and pretending to be sharks in the water.

At his request, no funeral services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencer Rescue Squad, Inc., 6 Bixby Rd., Spencer, MA. 01562.
