ANTHONY R ROY

Anthony Raymond “Tony” Roy, 62, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025 at Umass Memorial Campus Hospital, surrounded by his daughters and sisters.

Tony was born in Worcester Massachusetts to the late Raymond Roy and Virginia (Doucimo) Roy. He is predeceased by his son, Anthony Roy (TJ), and is survived by his daughters, Sara Villegas and her husband Luigi, and Sammi Roy. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Gabriella Villegas, Luigi Villegas Jr., and Vincent Roy; his siblings Regina Monopoli and her husband Louis, Rebecca Duquette and her husband Stephen, and Veronica Hachey and her husband Scott; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Tony had a long-time partner, Connie O’Malley, with whom he shared many years.

Tony was a private, gentle soul who loved NASCAR, spending time at the racetrack and demolition derbies with his father and close friends. He was also an avid and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, rarely missing a game.

He lived life in his own way, and his memory will live on in the stories and moments shared by those who loved him. His family will be celebrating his life privately. Britton-Wallace Funeral Home is honored to be assisting Mr. Roy’s family with services.
