Candido Rivera Jr., 50, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at his home after a long illness. He is leaving behind his beloved wife of 25 years, Heidi Caldbeck; his 10 children and their spouses; 5 cherished grandchildren; his father, Candido Rivera; his sister, Myriam Rivera; and many dear friends. Candido was born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, and moved to the United States, where he met Heidi only a few weeks after he moved to Worcester. He worked in construction and landscaping before his illness. Candido enjoyed the Rasta culture and had a deep faith that guided him throughout his life. Calling hours are Sunday, June 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. Funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, will be private. |
