BLANCHE A RICHARD (ROBIDOU)

Blanche A. Richard, 97, died on Tuesday morning, February 11, 2025, in UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

She leaves her son, Robert Richard of West Brookfield; her daughter, Annette Welch and her husband William of Spencer as well as 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Romeo J. Richard, as well as her siblings, Joseph, Evelyn, and Paulene. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Remillard) Robidou, and was a long-time resident of Spencer.

Blanche enjoyed her time at home, reading and crocheting, and walking for exercise. Her best times though, were always those with her family.

A Funeral Service for Blanche will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield. Interment will be held privately in Worcester County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Pantry at Mary Queen of the Rosary Church, 46 Maple St., Spencer, MA 01562.
