JOHANNA K. HARVEY (BALATHUNIS)

     Johanna Katherine Harvey (Balathunis), age 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long illness.

A native of Worcester, Johanna was a loving wife, a loving mother, and a friend to many in her lifetime. She was loved by all she met and loved to laugh. She was a joy.

Johanna was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert Harvey, and by two brothers, Peter and Arthur Balathunis.

She is survived by her sons, Paul (Barbara) Harvey; Michael (Glenda) Harvey, grandchildren, Matthew his wife Autumn; Jonathan, his wife Amanda; Samuel, his wife Allie; Aaron, his wife Chloe; and a great grandchild, Oliver, by Matthew and Autumn.

Johanna leaves her beloved sister, Angela Kowalcky, brother in-law Francis, and their children Linda, Jackie, Kathy, and Christine who she loved like daughters.

A private memorial service will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
