Donald R. Pelletier, 48, of 145 Beaconsfield Road, died yesterday in City Hospital, after a short illness.

He was a loader at the Melville Shoe Co. in Auburn.

Mr. Pelletier was born in Worcester son of Ovid J. Pelletier and Orise (Dupre) Pelletier, and lived here all his life.

Besides his father, he leaves his wife, Anne T. (Hine) Pelletier; two sons Michael R. and Steven J. Pelletier, both of Worcester: a daughter, Debra A. Pelletier of Worcester; two brothers, Robert N. Pelletier of Shrewsbury and Paul O. Pelletier of Worcester; two sisters, Mrs. Estelle C. Elia and Annette, wife of Richard Desplaines of Worcester.

He was a veteran of the Second World War.
    
The funeral will be held Saturday from O'Connor Bros. 592 Park Ave., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling Hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
