LEO P. JOLLY JR.

     Leo P. Jolly Jr., 81- of East Falmouth, MA. passed away on April 30, 2014 in Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Leo was born in Worcester, MA. the son of the late Leo Sr. & Nora (Lescault) Jolly .He lived, worked and raised his family in Barre from 1955 – 1985. He and his loving wife Angelina moved to East Falmouth where they have worked and enjoyed retirement. Leo worked as a plumber his whole adult life either in the trade or teaching young men at Monty Tech in Fitchburg, MA and then Upper Cape Cod Technical School in Bourne, MA, retiring in 1990. He worked as the plumbing and gas inspector in both Barre and Mashpee. Leo is a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean Conflict and was an active member of the American Legion Post 2 in Barre.Leo loved the Red Sox and hardly ever missed a game on tv. He was also passionate about playing and watching golf.
     Leo is survived by his beloved wife, Angelina ( Maio); his sons, Leo P. Jolly III and wife Kimberly Mason of Pinehurst, NC., Philip Jolly and wife Cristina of Oxford, MA.; his daughter Nora (Jolly) Palmieri and husband Paul of Alpharetta, GA.; 7 cherished grandchildren;his sisters, Joan (Jolly) Riel of Monson and Rita (Jolly) Granquist of Shrewsbury, MA. ; a sister-in-law, Rita (Baril) Jolly of Niantic,CT. and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a brother Robert Jolly.
     Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, May 4,2014 from 1-4 PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 S .Barre Rd., Barre. The funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM in St.Francis of Assisi Church, Vernon Ave, South Barre. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
