     Jeannine M. (St. Martin) Bouffard, a loyal daughter, devoted wife, guiding mother, loving grandmother, and steadfast friend died peacefully at Millbury Healthcare Center on Thursday, January 23, 2014, surrounded by loving family. She was predeceased by her loving husband of forty-three years, Norman A. Bouffard in January 2006.

    She was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to Arthur and Florence (Piette) St. Martin, joining her older brother Ronald. Ronald St. Martin gave his life for his Country serving in the Army Air Corp in the Pacific in March of 1945.

    After graduating from high school at St. Stephen’s, she attended Worcester School of Business and Salter Secretarial School. In September of 1962, Jeannine married the love of her life, Lieutenant JG Norman Bouffard. She supported her husband’s Navy career and later his career as a chemical engineer, traveling to New Jersey, Virginia, Indiana, and Michigan before settling back in Worcester.

    She was first and foremost a homemaker and proud of her work in her home. She was a dedicated parishioner at the former St. Margret Mary’s Church and found joy and meaning working in the parish.

    Jeannine is survived by two daughters, Michele L. Yelmene and her husband Elliot Parks of Del Mar, CA and Cheryl A. Fedorczuk and her husband Gerald of Millbury; a son, Norman R Bouffard of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Kagen E. Yelmene of Worcester; grandson, Garrett A. Yelmene of Del Mar and granddaughter, Jennifer E Fedorczuk of Millbury.

     Calling hours for Jeannine will be held on Sunday (today), January 26th, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her celebration of life Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th at 10 a.m. in St. Anne’s Church, 120 Boston Turnpike Road (Route 9), in Shrewsbury.
