Louis K. Williams, Sr., 85, of Worcester, died Wednesday April 3, 2013 in his home.
He leaves his wife of 40 years, Rose M. (Oslowski) Williams; three sons, Louis K. Williams, Jr., and his wife Deena of Texas; Donald Williams and his wife Donna of Georgia and David Williams and his wife Sharon of Texas; three brothers, Ralph Williams and his wife Jackie of California; Donald Williams and his wife Sandy of Vermont and Harold Williams and his wife Donna of Worcester; three sisters, Charlotte Murdock, Mary Mangsen and Rita Remillard, all of Worcester; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister, Vincent, Roger and Pauline. He was born in Shrewsbury, a son of Lael and Etta (Parent) Williams and has lived in Worcester for most of his life.
Mr. Williams was a traffic controller for Rand Whitney Corp., and worked there many years before retiring in 1993. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II serving with the Army Air Force. Louis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved to travel and enjoyed camping and fishing.
The funeral will be held on Saturday April 6 at 10:00 AM in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Saturday April 6 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home prior to the service.
