William T. Bowen, 57, of Leicester, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at home, surrounded by his family, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 28 years, Migdalia “Maggie” (Arce) Bowen of Leicester; a son William Bowen of New Hampshire; three daughters, Christine Bowen of Worcester, Sarah Bowen of North Brookfield and Jamie Bowen of Rochdale; three brothers, Daniel Bowen of Southbridge, Robert Bowen of Worcester, and John Bowen of Rochdale; a sister, Linda Harris of Spencer; ten grandchildren, including his special grandson Matthew; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of William and Joan (Dangredo) Bowen.
William was a salesman for Hudson Services, a Fur and Leather Cleaning Company. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 10:00 am at Rice Funeral Home 300 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
