Evangelos “Homer” Bashios, passed away on August 18, 2012 in Ocala, FL. He was born July 11, 1921 in Worcester, MA, to Constantine and Elsie Weiberg Bashios. He was a factory worker in the shoe industry and a lifelong resident of Worcester, MA until he retired to Ocala, FL in 1986 to live with his sister, Irene. What gave Mr. Bashios the most enjoyment in life was spending time with his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is survived by a sister, Florence Butler of Chicago, IL; nephew, Gary Thurston, Ocala, FL; niece, Gayle Thurston, Ocala, FL; niece, Pamela Perlman of Weston, FL; niece, Adriane Butler of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Thurston; nephew, William Butler and parents, Constantine E. and Elsie U. Bashios. | |
