Evelyn M. (Beauregard) Moylan, 83 of Norfolk, VA formerly of Auburn, died peacefully Friday in Envoy of Thornton Hall Nursing Home. Her husband, Richard P. Moylan died in 2004. She is survived by her children; Richard P. Jr and his wife Sera Elizabeth Moylan of Norfolk, VA., Daniel J. Moylan of Huntington Beach, CA, Susan M. Moylan of Madison, CT, and Dianne F. Moylan of Norfolk, VA, her loving grandchildren; Tyler, Ryan and Cameron.
She also leaves her brothers; Leo and wife Lenora Beauregard of St. Paul, MN, Rene and wife Lorraine Beauregard of Plymouth, MA, and Roland and wife Janice of Auburn, MA. She was born in Worcester; she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Georgiana (Gauthier) Beauregard. She was educated in Worcester Schools. Mrs. Moylan worked as a bookkeeper for several area businesses. She was an active member of the North American Martyrs Church in Auburn for many years. In her younger years Mrs. Moylan enjoyed water skiing and boating. Her other hobbies included gardening crafts and knitting. In later years she and her husband traveled extensively throughout their retirement, enjoying family, friends, and mostly their adoring grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 10 AM in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association , 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
