Sharon G. (Converse) Welch, 58, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at UMASS Memorial Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 39 years, John M. Welch; two brothers-in-law, William Davis of Worcester and John Callahan of Franklin; three nieces, Carrie, wife of Christopher Verrier, Erin Reyes and Gwen Davis; several great nieces and great nephews and her PCA and friend, Gina Ingram. Sharon was predeceased by her two sisters, Sandra Callahan and Linda Mae Davis.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Donald A. and Florence A. (Johnson) Converse and graduated from Burncoat High School. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces, and great nieces nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 15 at LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will also be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service in the funeral home.
