Robert V. Bousquet, 65, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011, surrounded by his loving family at Kindred Park View Hospital, after a long illness.

He leaves his wife and best friend of over 30 years, Patricia M. (Bruce) Bousquet. He also leaves 6 sons and daughters, Wendy Souza, Robert Ormsbee, Stephen Bruce, Robert Gerulis, Lisa Gerulis, and Kimberley Gerulis; 3 brothers, Raymond Bousquet and his wife Marjorie, William Bousquet, and George Bousquet; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by 1 sister, Barbara Collacci (wife of Alexander) and 2 brothers, Ernest and Chandler Bousquet.

He was born in Worcester, son of Florence G. (Wyman) and Raymond A. Bousquet and graduated from Boys Trade School. He was an Air Force staff sergeant and Vietnam War veteran. Bob was a taxi-cab driver for Yellow Cab for 32 years. He enjoyed camping and fishing with family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011. A calling hour will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street from 9:30-10:30 am. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MA Veterans Shelter, 69 Grove St., Worcester MA 01605.
