RUTH M. KUIZINAS (DUPONT)

Ruth M. (Dupont) Kuizinas, age 87, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 surrounded by her loving family, in UMass Memorial Hospital, 55 Lake Avenue.

Born in Worcester on March 20, 1924, she is survived by her husband, Charles Kuizinas of Oxford and her children Charles, Jr. and his wife Mary of Gardner, Jean Plante of Brookfield, Paul and his wife Rosie of Loma Linda, CA and Joseph of Oxford. She also leaves a sister, Marjorie Belcik, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen Kuizinas and her brother, Robert Dupont.

She greatly enjoyed gardening, sewing and had a great fondness for flowers. Her family is very grateful to the medical and nursing staff at UMass Memorial Hospital for their compassion and dedicated care.

The funeral will be held on Monday, August 1, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn, MA. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Sunday, July 31, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
