FELIKSA H. BENWARE (MORAWSKI)

Feliksa H. (Morawski) Benware, 99, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011, in the St. Francis Home, Worcester. She was the widow of Arnold A. Benware. Born in Boston, Feliksa was a daughter of Anna (Andrzejec) and Anthony T. Morawski. She was a long-time resident of Leicester and had resided at Eddy’s Pond in Auburn prior to her time at St. Francis Home. While in Leicester, she was an active member of the Leicester Senior Center. She leaves a grandson and his wife, Allen C. and Christine Benware, and four great-grandchildren. Her son, Ralph Benware, passed away this past December. She was also predeceased by two sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leicester Senior Center, 40 Winslow Ave, Leicester, MA 01524. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
