John F. Nagle passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 in his residence. John leaves behind his six children: Theresa Nagle, John Nagle, Nancy Nagle-Labbe, Martin Nagle, Margaret Nagle, Steven Nagle; seven grandchildren: Courtney Nagle-Lee, Kathleen Nagle, Jonathan Nagle, Katrina Nagle, Hayley Nagle, Ashleigh Labbe, and Sean Nagle; and three great grandchildren: Liam, Brayden, and Colin. John was born and raised in East Cambridge, MA to Mary Margaret Kenney Nagle and James Nagle on July 26, 1937. He served in the United States Army prior to his marriage to Patricia Dowling Nagle (pre-deceased). The two raised their six children in Warren, MA. John retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Company in Needham, MA in 2003 enjoying retirement in his continued dedication and commitment to his family. John was a faithful Christian and served as a godly witness to all he met. John enjoyed reading and teaching those he loved about God, American history, and his Irish heritage. John loved to garden and had an appreciation for all of God's creation. He was the most loving, thoughtful, giving man one could hope to meet. John not only gave endlessly to his family, but made contributions to those in need around the world. John's greatest desire was met in the peace in knowing of the salvation of his children and grandchildren. We will all be united again one day! Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 5-8 PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Old West Brookfield Rd./ Rte 9, Brookfield, MA. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral with full military honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton, MA. |
