Theresa M. “Terry” (Gadbois) Zak, 49, of Leicester passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Golden Living Center-The Hermitage. Theresa was born in Worcester and later moved to Leicester where she attended and graduated from Leicester High School. She entered into the United States Army and served eleven years as a medic during Desert Storm in Kuwait. Upon returning home she worked at St. Vincent Hospital as a Phlebotomist for sixteen years. She also worked at the United States Post Office as a Dock Supervisor for two years before retiring. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Church in Spencer. She enjoyed making candles and candy, canning; any type of sport including cross country skiing, archery, surfing, hiking, canoeing and swimming. She also enjoyed being outdoors. There wasn’t any activity she wouldn’t have loved. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Theresa’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 27th at 10 a.m. in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
