PATRICIA A. DONAGHY

     Patricia A. Donaghy “Auntie Pat“, 65, of Worcester, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in the UMASS Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

     Patricia is survived by her son, James H. Donaghy and his wife Elizabeth of Holden; her two grandchildren: Paige and Brooke who were her pride and joy; her long-time companion, Sonny Dubrule; three brothers: Charles, Richard and Steven Donaghy; and two sisters: Marie Donaghy and Margaret Setaro, all of Worcester; nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, James Donaghy, and two sisters: Annette, Samara Donaghy and Noreen Cormier. Patricia was also predeceased by a nephew, Senior Airman Richard M. Setaro Jr.

     Patricia was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Charles N. and Annette (Amoroso) Donaghy and lived in Worcester many years. She was a member of St. Stephen Church and the 49ers Club at Pleasant Valley Drive. Patricia enjoyed playing cards and loved being a homemaker to her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

     Patricia’s funeral will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester at 11:00AM. Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 8:30AM to 10:30AM Saturday prior to leaving for church. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
