ARTHUR J. FORAND

    Arthur J. Forand, Sr., 87, formerly of Auburn, died on September 11, 2010 in Grande Ville in Ormon Beach after an illness.

    His wife of 60 years, Mildred O. (Bedard) Forand died in 2004. He is survived by a son, Arthur "Bud" J. Forand, Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Flagler Beach, FL; a sister, Rita Gaudette of Springfield, MA and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester son of the late Napoleon and Philomene (Richard) Forand and lived in the Worcester area until moving to Florida in 2005.

    Mr. Forand worked as machinist for the former George Meyer Company for over 20 years and was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Auburn.

    Private funeral services were held with burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester handled arrangements.
