HATTIE J. HORAN (PIELASCZYK)

    Hattie J. (Pielaszczyk) Horan, of Worcester, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Autumn Village. She was 90.

    Hattie was born July 31, 1919 in Worcester a daughter of the late Teophil and Alexandra (Pisolowska) Pielaszckzk and was a graduate of the former Fanning Trade High School.

    Her husband of 71 years, Joseph M. Horan, Sr., died in 2007 and her son, Robert S. Horan died in 2002. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Stanley J., Chester J., Stephen J., Sophie Pielaszcyk and Katherine Bartzak.

    She leaves three sons, James M. Horan of Worcester, Michael G. Horan of Fort Meyers, Florida and Dr. Joseph M. Horan, Jr. of Ashland; three sisters, Teresa A. Rudzinski, Helen Kasprzak both of Worcester and Jane Jasaitis; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

    Hattie's family gathered privately Saturday in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. Burial followed in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
