CLARENCE D. SMITH

    Clarence D. Smith, 94, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 in his residence. He is predeceased by his wife, Eva M. (Dubuque) Smith in February of 2007. He leaves 5 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Clarence was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley A. Howe in 2007 and two sisters.

    He was born in Shirley, MA the son of Frederick & Anna (Lambert) Smith. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Guadalcanal with the Americal Division. Clarence was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, VFW Capt. Albert Prouty Post 3429, the National Association of Retired Veterans and the North Brookfield Senior Citizens.

    A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St., North Brookfield is assisting the famiy with arrangments.
