EFFIE L. MEYER

    Effie L. (Bartlett) Meyer-Smith, 87, of Venice, FL, went to the Lord on June 18, 2009.

    She is survived by her husband, George C. Smith; two daughters, Gail E. (Steven) Brickel and Dorean E. Meyer, step daughter, Sheryl F. Smith; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert P. Meyer; her brother, Henry Bartlett and her twin sister, Lilla Mince.

    Originally from the Worcester area, she held various jobs, but enjoyed being a stay at home mom. She enjoyed crafting, reading, going to the beach, and having fun.

    Private service will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.

    She will be greatly missed.
