Richard L. LaFlash, 81, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Parsons Hill Nursing Home. He leaves a son, Joseph R. LaFlash of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Kathryn M. Lougee & her husband Paul of Spencer; 6 grandsons, Michael, Adam, Joseph, Joshua, Jonathan & Anthony; 4 great-grandsons; cousins; nephews & nieces and many step children. He was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Norman & Ronald LaFlash. Richard was born and raised in Worcester before moving to Spencer. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and later served in the US Marine Corp. Richard worked for the City of Worcester for 30 years until he retired. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 1:00 PM in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
