KATHLEEN M. HOYE (WALSH)

    Kathleen (Walsh) Desrosiers Hoye, 70, passed away Tuesday May 5 in St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness, surrounded by her family.

    She was born in Derry, NH on March 6, 1939 daughter of the late Loretta Roddy and Clarence Walsh. She lived in Worcester most of her life where she worked as a city employee for 23 years at the Belmont Home before retiring in 2001 and later worked at Christopher House.

    Kathleen is survived by 7 children, Gail Strzesak and her husband Frank, Burt Spooner with whom she lived, Kenneth Spooner, Julie Besaw, Kathy Desrosiers, John Desrosiers Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, and Tammy Desrosiers; as well as 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Melvin, Sonny and Roger and 2 sisters, Beverly and Evelyn. She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth and a sister, Caroline.

    The funeral service will be Saturday May 9, 2009 at 10 a.m in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Friday May 8, 2009 from 6 p.m to 9 p.m at Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St., Worcester.
