DOROTHY L. MONDOR (HIGGINS)

   Dorothy L. (Higgins) Mondor, 81, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 16th, in the Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. Her husband of 58 years, George W. Mondor died in 2005.

   She leaves three daughters, Patricia L. Young and her husband, Gregory C. of Denver, NC, Nancy J. Dahn and her husband, Kevin P. of Oakham and Gail L. Clotar and her husband, Paul V. of Worcester; a brother, Robert Higgins of Leicester; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A son, Edward G. Mondor predeceased her.

   Mrs. Mondor was born in Worcester, the daughter of Lester and Pearl (Pettis) Higgins. She was a member of Bethany Congregational Church.

   A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th at 11:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial Contributions may be made to Levine Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
