SHAWN M. CASSIDY

  Shawn M. “Shawn – O” Cassidy, 48, of Worcester, died Friday June 13, 2008 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave North.

  He leaves his father, Richard T. Cassidy of Worcester; four brothers, Daniel K. Cassidy and Douglas R. Cassidy both of Worcester; Timothy J. Cassidy of Northborough and Dennis P. Cassidy of Hewitt, N.J. He also leaves nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. His mother, Rita B. (Gaudette) Cassidy died in 1997. Shawn was born in Worcester and lived here all his life. Mr. Cassidy worked as a laborer and plasterer for more than ten years. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and was a graduate of Worcester Trade High School. Shawn was a hard worker. He loved sports and enjoyed playing darts.

  The funeral will be held on Wednesday June 18 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St, with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday June 17 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
