ELIZABETH A POWELL (FLYNN)

   Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Flynn) Powell, 89, of Worcester, died Friday, May 16th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. Her husband of 41 years, Charles J. Powell, died in 2003. She leaves her sister, Alice K. Flynn of Unionville, CT; and nephews and nieces in Connecticut, North Carolina and Canada. Mrs. Powell was predeceased by her brother, John Flynn and her infant sister, Caroline Flynn.

   She was born in Unionville, CT the daughter of John J. and Caroline E. (Hogerty) Flynn. Mrs. Powell was employed by Lindco for 20 years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church.

   The funeral is Tuesday, May 20th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, May 19th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
