Mabel M. (Brodeur) Lucier, 89, died Monday, March 10, 2008 in Hubbard Regional Hospital in Webster. She was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Louis J. & Mabel (Dufresne) Brodeur and has lived most of her life in Spencer. She leaves a son, Alfred L. Lucier & his wife, Eleanor of FL.; two daughters, Joan Majka & her husband, Gene of Palmer and Carol Breault & her husband, Robert of Auburn; two brothers, George A. Brodeur of CA. and Louis J. Brodeur of FL.; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren & 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred J. Lucier in 2002 and two brothers and a sister. Mabel worked in the cafeteria for the Spencer Public Schools for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Spencer. A memorial service for Mabel will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Spencer is directing arrangements. | |
