ELENORA M KRAUSE (NELSON)

  Eleanora M. (Nelson) Krause, 90, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 16, 2008 surrounded by her family and her dog Riley, in Millinocket Regional Hospital, Millinocket, ME. Her husband of 45 years, Wesley G. Krause died on July 12, 1985. Eleanora is survived by her three sons, Paul N. Krause and his wife Janet of N. Grafton, Michael E. Krause and his wife Loreen of Millinocket, ME and Russell L. Krause and his wife Pamela of Shrewsbury; three daughters, Kathleen Powers and her husband Paul of Mercer, ME, Claudia Ljunggren and her husband Jon of Vienna, ME and Melanie Sewell and her husband Charles of Auburn, Georgia; a brother Edward Nelson of Millbury; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A son Jeffery K. Krause, predeceased her on August 1, 1999 in addition to, a brother, Walter Nelson and a sister, Marion Alfreds.
  Eleanora was born on September 10, 1917 in Spencer to the daughter of Walter and Cora Delia (Grout) Nelson. She was a graduate of David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School and has lived in Worcester for most of her life, recently moving to Millinocket, Maine three years ago.
  Eleanora worked for years at Steven Walden, Dapol & Robinson Thread. She enjoyed traveling extensively with her family and will by miss by all, including her longtime friends, Barbara Gustafson of Oxford and Nancy Spyker of Worcester.
  Her funeral service will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 10:00 A.M. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A calling hour will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
