VIVIAN B WESTBERG (BRAUN)

   Vivian B. (Braun) Westberg, 85, passed away January 23, 2008 after a recent illness. Her husband Richard A. Westberg passed in 1974. Vivian is survived by her three children, Marsha J. Gemma and her husband Richard of Westport MA, Douglas R. Westberg and his wife Diane of Westford and Gary R. Westberg and his wife Marlene of Harwich; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Westberg was born August 25, 1922 in San Antonio Texas the daughter of Victor W. and Nettie (Trawalter) Braun.

     She was raised in San Antonio graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School and then a cosmetology school there. She came to Worcester in 1948 and has lived in Shrewsbury since 1959. Vivian worked for many years as the secretary at Shrewsbury High School. She was an accomplished baker making cakes and pastries and teaching cake decorating. Vivian was an enthusiastic baseball fan particularly enjoying The Boston Red Sox.

   At her request funeral services will be at the convenience of her family. She will then be laid to rest with her husband in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours.
