FRANCIS L HIRTLE

   His wife, Frances A. (Santos) Hirtle, died in 2006. He leaves a nephew, Norman L. Hirtle of Worcester; 2 nieces, C. Beth Hirtle of Worcester, and Leona Hirtle of Virginia; several grand nephews and grand nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Louise Coffman.

   Born in Everett, Ma., son of Charles E. and Flora L. (Mosher) Hirtle, he graduated from Commerce High School, and served in the South Pacific with the Navy during WWll. He worked as a construction foreman at Riley Stoker for 15 years, and previously worked at W. J. Callahan Co.

   Mr. Hirtle was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Montacute Lodge of Masons, Alethia Grotto, New England Grotto Assn., Stella Chapter O.E.S., and was a 32 degree mason. He was an avid golfer.
