CHARLES J LaRIVIERE ,Sr

   Charles LaRiviere, 58, of North Brookfield and Monaco, France lost his courageous battle with ALS on january 1, 2008. He was born in Worcester the son of Liberty (Kinosian) LaRiviere of Worcester & the late Walter A. LaRiviere. Charles was predeceased by his wife Edith (Stapins) LaRiviere in 1981. He leaves three sons, Charles LaRiviere Jr. & his partner Louis LaRiviere-Shulman, Bruce LaRiviere & his wife Cathy of Worcester & Brian LaRiviere & his wife Lizzie of West Brookfield; two daughters, Lisa Dverchak & her husband Fred of Monson and Christa Cloutier & her husband Doug of Spencer; 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Kurt and a brother Robert LaRiviere.

   Charlie lived most of his life in Massachusetts where he owned & operated Bay State Remanufacturing in North Brokfield for 30 years until he retired. After retirement he moved to Monaco, France where he loved his view of the Mediterranean Sea. He loved to travel the world and especially enjoyed his time travelilng in his RV.

   The funeral will be private for the family in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Quaboag Valley VNA, 42B Wright St., Palmer, MA 01069
