Reba C. (Pierce) Mason, 89, formerly of Worcester, died Monday, December 24, 2007 in Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer.

Her husband, Herbert C. Mason died in 1966. She leaves a son, Marshall H. Mason and his wife Winifred of West Boylston; a daughter, Judith F. Wood and her husband Bill of Shirley; four grandchildren, William and Robert Mason, Cheryl Cronin and Rick Martin; four great grandchildren, Katie Cronin, Sophia, Clayton and Elizabeth Mason. A sister, Margaret Foster, predeceased her. She was born in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire the daughter of Elmer and E. Faith (Delano) Pierce and lived 64 years in Worcester before recently moving to Ayer.

Mrs. Mason graduated from Troy High School in Troy, NH and Keene State College School of Nursing. She was a licensed practical nurse at Wayside Nursing Home in Worcester for many years. She was a member of United Congregational Church, its Women's Club, and managed the church's Thrift Shop for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 28th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
