     Ulric J. “Rick” Racine age 84 of Belleview, FL. died Thursday, Nov. 1st at Wuestoff Brevard Hospice in Rockledge, Fl. He was born in Worcester, and moved to Ocala, FL in January 1980 from Bondsville, MA. He was a Veteran of W.W.II in the U.S. Coast Guard, Veteran of the Korean War in the U.S. Navy Sea Bees, a life Member of V.F.W. Post 8083 in Belleview, FL. He belonged to the U.S. Coast Guard Combat Association Veterans. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1014, Ocala, FL., a member of Masonic Brigham Lodge, Ludlow MA, Melha Temple Springfield, MA. Ambassador-At-Large Morocco Temple, Jacksonville, FL., He was also a past President of the Ocala Shrine Club, past Chief of the Fire Brigade, Hillbillies Clan #78, and Hillbillies Clan #18.

     He was preceeded in death by his wives Lucille E. Racine in April 1995 and Navarro “Smitty” Racine in July 2005, two Grandsons Michael Desreuisseau in Dec. 2004 and Brian Desreuisseau in Aug. 2007. Survirors include his Step-Daughter Joyce Labrecque and husband Robert of Athol; two grandchildren Amie Tarantola and husband Chuck of Melbourne, FL and Rickie Desreuisseau and wife Shenikah of Athol, eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8th at 9:30 AM in the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main St., Athol. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 7th from 6-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Children Hospitals, Donations Department, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA. 01104. Fiske Funeral Home 1356 Main Street, Athol is directing arrangements.
