Gary E. "Buzz" Bateman, 60, 562 Keys Rd. died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in Harrington Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife of 17 years, Linda (Joyce) Bateman; three sons, Gary P. Bateman of Flinstone, GA, Larry Bateman of West Brookfield and William C. Knight of Warren; three daughters, Wendy McFaul of Ware, Sherry Potter of Warren & Dawn Cassavant of Winchendon; two brothers, Larry & James Bateman and a sister, Linda Bateman all of Oswego, NY; 13 grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was born in Oswego, NY the son of Leonard "Pete" Bateman & Ellen (Beckwith) Hall and has lived in Warren since 1967. Mr. Bateman was a US Navy Veteran. He currently owned & operated the Warren Spa and previously he owned Buzz's Autobody also in Warren from 1978-2000. The funeral for Mr. Bateman will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield. Burial will follow in with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 3:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
