     Ernest Clark Caissie, Sr., 70, of Danielson, CT and formerly of Worcester, died on Monday, September 3rd, in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.
    
His wife, Rita M. (Beeso) Caissie, died in 1999. Mr. Caissie is survived by a son, Ernest C. Caissie Jr. and his fiance Anne Marie Codding and her daughter Theresa Ann Maheu, all of Danielson, CT with whom he lived; a sister, Lynn Beeso of Worcester; and a grandchild. Mr. Caissie is predeceased by two daughters: Debora M. Dillon and Donna A. Caissie; a sister, Eunice Caissie and two grandchildren.
    
He was born in Orange, MA, son of Leon and Grace (Clark) Caissie and lived in Worcester for most of his life. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and also served in the Army National Guard.
    
Mr. Caissie worked for the City of Worcester in the Sanitation Department for 39 years. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan as well as loving country music and being a regular customer at the Pickle Barrel Restaurant for over 40 years. He will miss his friends at the St. Francis Day Program, his dog, Charlie and a close friend, Cesear.
    
The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 6th, at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Wednesday, September 5th, from 4 to 6 PM in the funeral home.
