Jennie M. (Mignacca) Fontaine, 91, of Pahrump, NV, died August 24, 2007 in Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vegas, NV. Her beloved husband of fifty six years, J. Victor Fontaine, died May 12, 1995.
Jennie is survived by her devoted son, Kenneth L Fontaine of Pahrump, NV; a brother JKL Mignacca of Pahrump, NV; a sister Loretta Judson of Chesapeake, VA; two grandchildren, Dr. Reid G. Fontaine of Tucson, AZ, Jared J. Fontaine, his wife Laura of Brooklyn, NY, and a great grandchild Giulia Fontaine.
Jennie was the daughter of Patsy and Mary (D’Alessandro) Mignacca. She was born in Shrewsbury on August 4, 1916 and graduated from Shrewsbury High School.
Ms. Fontaine was the head court clerk for the probation department in the Worcester trial courthouse, retiring in 1981. She belonged to a local sewing club and was a member of Saint Margaret Mary Church.
Jennie’s funeral will be held, Wednesday, August 29, 2007 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Margaret Mary Church, 75 Alvarado Ave. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, immediately prior to church.
