MARJORIE H. PARENT (HART)

     Marjorie H. (Hart) Parent, 86, died Wednesday, August 21, 2007 in Clinton Hospital.  Her husband of 46 years, Rosaire R. Parent, died in 2004. She leaves a daughter, Carol A. Coolidge and her husband Alan of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Christine M. Shepard of Paxton and Mark A. Coolidge of Holden; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including, Joan Kanaan of Wells, Maine. Her brother, Robert Hart and two sisters, Virginia Stevens and Barbara Sullivan, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Carlton and Helen (Hannaford) Hart and lived in Worcester, Auburn, Holden, and Saint Albans, Vermont for over 20 years.
     Mrs. Parent worked at Worcester State Hospital for several years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Jefferson, was an avid reader, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by her family.
     A private funeral service for Mrs. Parent will be held in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
