Aldona (Paulauskas) Obraitis, 88, beloved wife of William V. Obraitis, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by her family.
In addition to her husband of 68 years, she leaves a son, William Obraitis Jr., three daughters, Janet, wife of Robert Locke of Oxford, Nancy, wife of George Mayer of Millbury and Christine, wife of Charles Rogan, Jr. of Coral Springs, Fla., eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister, Rita Raines; three brothers, William, Anthony and Albert Paulauskas, and many nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Sophie Paulauskas and Amelia Deknis, predeceased her.
She loved playing bingo, going to the beach, fishing and watching the Boston Red Sox. She also enjoyed listening to music, especially polkas.
The funeral Mass will be on Saturday, July 14 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 43 Belmont St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
