James Dobson, 82, passed away in St. Vincent's Hospital on May 30, 2007.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Cecile (Lanoue) Dobson; two sons, James Dobson Jr. of Worcester and Brian Dobson of Maine; two daughters, Debra Zukauskas of Webster and Sharon Shilinsky of Southbridge; two sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Myrtle Gagne of Oxford; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. Mr. Dobson was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

James was born in Worcester, MA on July 3, 1924 son to Arthur and Susan Dobson. James was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St. Worcester, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Monday, June 4th at 11:00 am. Burial will be held privately in Worcester County Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
