EDITH I. RICCI

Edith I. Ricci, 78, of 27 Forbes St., died Monday, April 9, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital, after being stricken ill at home.

She leaves her son, William M. "Billy" Ricci, with whom she made her home; two sisters, Constance M. Montague of Worcester, Maryann E. Novia of Holden; and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Ralph J. Ricci and a sister, Patricia E. Veroneau, both predeceased her.

She was born in East Boston, daughter of the late Ralph P. and Antoinette (Moretti) Ricci. She graduated from South High School and lived in Worcester most of her life.

Edith worked 35 years for General Electric, until she retired. She was an avid reader.

There are no calling hours. After cremation, burial of her ashes will be at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
