Eugene "Gene" Marcel Beley, 75, of Worcester died peacefully in his sleep April 5th, 2007 only to return to our heavenly father. He was preceded in death by his devoted and beloved wife, Eleanor L. "Ellie" (Belcher) Beley who died on May 9th, 2004; he was also predeceased by his first wife Shirley Mae (Peters) O'Brien; and one brother Robert Beley. He is survived by 5 sons, David Beley and his wife Melina of Framingham, Eugene Beley and his wife Judy, Paul & Ronald Beley all of California; Richard Beley of Bristol, RI; 4 daughters, Diane (Beley) Stroebel and her husband, Guy of Simi Valley California, Robin Latino & Arlene Harvey of Worcester, Lori Potter and her husband Joe of Daville, CT & 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; a brother & sister-in-law, George and Joan Beley of Rockland, ME also many nieces, nephews, & cousins.   
    
He was born in Ware, August 16th, 1931 the son of Robert Arsene Beley & Marie (Lacasse) of Paxton. He was raised on the Beley Poultry Farm in Paxton with his brothers Robert and George. He loved fixing things and was mechanically gifted, he could take apart anything and put it back together. He also was a rock hound and loved spending his weekends with his family searching for interesting rocks and artifacts in the forests and wild parts of Mass. He was an electrician by trade. In his later years, he had come to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, his heart was filled with the Holy Spirit and devoted many years preaching in the local Prisons, and spreading the word of the Lord Jesus Christ to everyone he met. He will be missed by all who loved him.
     His ashes will be laid to rest at a graveside ceremony Saturday, April 14th at 10:30 a.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer Association, 128 Providence St., Worcester, MA 01604. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St., Worcester.
