MICHAEL J. DANAHY

Michael J. Danahy, 40, of 2745 Bayview Drive, Eustis, FL, formerly of Massachusetts, passed away in Florida Waterman Hospital, Tavares, FL, on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, after a short illness.

He leaves his parents, Ronald H. “Danny” and Lucille M. (LaPan) Danahy, with whom he lived in Eustis; his sister, Denise M. Danahy of Altoona, FL; his nieces, Ashley E. Cernan and Heather N. Cernan, both of Chicago, IL; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was born in Worcester on September 23, 1966, and was raised there. He later lived in Westborough and Oxford before moving to Florida in 1977.

Michael was a kind and affectionate person who had a smile for everyone and was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed music, following sports, Nintendo, and playing cards. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

Michael’s funeral will be Tuesday, December 19, from Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Following his Mass, he will be laid to rest in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday, December 18, from 5 to 8 PM.
