FRANCES A. HIRTLE (SANTOS)

Frances A. (Santos) Hirtle, 87, of Worcester died Saturday, December 23 in Holden Nursing Home. She leaves her husband of 60 years Francis L. Hirtle; one brother, Lionel Carreira of Athens, GA; one nephew, Norman L. Hirtle of Worcester; two nieces, Carolyn Beth Hirtle of Worcester, Leona Hirtle of Alexandria, VA and several grand-nephews and grand-nieces. She was born in Pawtucket, R.I., daughter of Antonio and Louisa (Andrade) Santos and had lived in Worcester for 63 years. She was a member of Stella Chapter, O.E.S. and a graduate of South High School and Becker's.

Her funeral will be held in Caswell-King Funeral Home, 474 Grove St. on Wednesday, December 27 at 11 A.M. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-7 P.M in the funeral home.
