Leahnetta Elizabeth (Benway) Swain, 88, formally of Worcester, died Sat. Nov. 18, 2006 at the Christopher House in Worcester. Lee leaves her daughter Sandra DeMaio and her husband Anthony with whom she resided. She also leaves 2 grandchildren, David DeMaio of Worcester and Donna Hunt and her husband Bryce of Worcester; 2 great grandchildren, Ethan Anthony and Faith Leahnetta Hunt. She also leaves one brother, Morton Benway of Cranston, RI; one sister-in-law, Mildred Froemel of Worc.; and several nieces and nephews. She was an active member of St. Michael on the Heights Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tues. Nov. 21, 2006 at St. Michael on the Heights Church, 340 Burncoat St., Worcester. Calling hours will be Mon. Nov. 20, 2006 from 5-8 PM at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605. | |
