Fay E. (Brower) Shields,62, of 42 Irving St., died Sunday, Oct. 29 in UMASS Memorial Hospital – Lake Ave. in Worcester. Her husband, Alvis T. Shields, died in 1991. She leaves her daughter, Elaine M. Lewis, with whom she lived and a son, William E. Lewis, also of Spencer, three brothers Robert F. Brower and Calvin L. Brower both of Worcester and Stephen Brower of Chicoppee, a grand daughter Crystal M. Haddad of Spencer, many nieces and nephews. A brother, George W. Brower, died in 1983. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of George W. and Elaine S. (Ramsey) Brower. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 1p.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
