Evelyn C. Arsenault, 100, of 74 Maple St., died Wednesday, October 11 at the Saint Francis Home in Worcester. She was the wife of Theodore E. Arsenault and was married for 60 years before he died in 1990.

She leaves a son, Lionel T. Arsenault and his wife Joanne of Holden, a daughter, Louise M. Downie of Auburn, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

She was born in New Braintree, the daughter of Hector & Leontyne (Rock) Letendre.

Mrs. Arsenault was a stitcher for nine years working at the former Ware Shoe Co. and Klevin Shoe Co., retiring in 1972. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Spencer and it’s St. Anne’s Sodality. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club of Spencer.

The funeral will be held Saturday, October 14 from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Please omit flowers.
