Travis D. Monroe, 17, of Worcester, a Junior at Burncoat High School, passed away Sunday, October 1st from injuries suffered when he was struck by a car on Fales St. Travis leaves his cherished and devoted Mother and Dad, Christi Ann (Wheeler) and Curtis Berry, Sr. with whom he lived; his biological father Stephen R. Monroe in Florida; a brother, Curtis Berry, Jr. of Springfield; maternal grand parents, Richard Wheeler of Worcester and Roberta Rau in Florida; paternal grandparents, Charles and Andora Baldwin of Springfield; Ray & Deborah; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He was born in Worcester and has lived here all his life. Travis was a friend who cherished life, his friends, and family, and would always be there for a friend or someone in need. He loved to walk, to listen to music and play his video games. Friends and family are invited to attend Calling hours, Friday, October 6th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Funeral services will be private.
